Aplethora

Aplethora CD photoA plethora of things had gone on… in this continued Musical Journey of Mike and Jon. Transitioning from the closing of “Glendora’s Box” the room, to the opening of “Mirror Image Studios” left the rockers without a place to play for the first time in over 12 years. “Glendora’s Box” the band had lost their momentum and suffered the loss of drummer Saint Buenrostro in this process. They not only lost a drummer but that rare Chemistry that really makes a band rock. Saint, we truly thank you for an unforgettable experience and all of your hard work. The Rock gods salute you!

Mike and Jon still had Bobbi on board as lead vocalist and had already started recording some tracks but without Saint it was going to be a new band. It took a couple years to finally have the drumming and sound mixing talent of Jesse Alvarado join the team. Around that same time the magic of keyboard player George Leemon walked through the door. George had toured for several years with STYX in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The chemistry was back once again and this time with keyboards, something Mike and Jon desired from day one. A plethora of things occurred in their years of combined musical experiences leading to the completion of this incredible record. “Aplethora” would become the name of the band. Recorded and engineered at Mirror Image Studios. Mixed and mastered by the bands drummer Jesse Alvarado. The “Aplethora” record is loaded with tremendous talent and years of musical influences.
